Message of the week from the children:
Message from Mrs Jackson:
Welcome all to a very busy week!
Last week our fantastic year 6 were on national television showing their enterprise skills to the nation. I have had so many contacts from people in Bradford saying how incredible the children are - well done to all!
Our Reception children have all visited Cannon Hall Farm where they have learned about farm animals and life on a farm. Cannon Hall managers have contacted me to say how impressed they were with the children and their knowledge of the animals. The children also said they loved the visit. Our Year 5 children also visited Saltaire looking at their Victorian theme and Year 3 continue their work with Nell Bank outdoor learning centre, whilst Year 1 visited Ogden Water.
Our work continues with our partner school Sandal Primary School and all the staff team at Marshfield visited Sandal on Wednesday to focus on assessment. The Sandal school council will begin visiting Marshfield after the half term.
Bradford trident community group met with our community team and are beginning their anti drugs work with us after half term.
Year 6 will be undertaking the SATs tests this week and we wish them well. They are well prepared and are encouraged to attend breakfast club everyday this week.
Have a good week everyone.
